No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating Ideas

With a little bit of creativity and imagination, your pumpkins are sure to impress your Halloween guests! These 5 different decorative ideas are simple and easy to do with your kids.

Pom-Pom Pumpkins

Grab a bag of pom-poms and some glue and let your creativity take you away! If you’re not so creative, you can glue the pom-poms to the pumpkin to make shapes such as a moon or ghost. Just be sure to outline or paint your shape on first to help you place your pom-poms.

Pumpkin Silhouettes

First, grab yourself a white pumpkin while you’re at the pumpkin patch this year! Or, if you’ve already purchased an orange pumpkin, grab some white paint to paint your pumpkin. Next, tape a spooky Halloween stencil onto your pumpkin and paint it to create a silhouette!

Polka-Dot Pumpkins

To decorate your pumpkin with polka-dots, you’ll need a bottle of glue and some colorful gems! Simply dab a small spot of glue anywhere on the pumpkin and place the gem on the glue to create a fun pattern or design!

Glitter Pumpkins

This could get a little messy, but you’ll love how your pumpkin looks once completed! Grab your favorite colors of glitter and a bottle of glue. You can make any type of design or pattern you wish; simply apply the glue and sprinkle your glitter over it. Now all that’s left is to set it outside and let it shine!

Paint Pumpkins

When painting your pumpkin the possibilities are endless! You can paint a face, shapes, patterns, words, or even pour paint on top of the pumpkin to create a cool abstract pumpkin!
