Woodard’s Water Restoration Team Works Around the Clock on Large Water Loss

When a building within a large St. Louis medical facility flooded, the Woodard team arrived immediately to reverse damages and restore the building.

Flooded home

St. Louis, Mo. (July, 2014) –

Disasters strike at all hours of the night, this we know, but at 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 22, Woodard Cleaning & Restoration was once again reminded of that fact. One of St. Louis’ largest medical facilities was in need of water mitigation services after a toilet line burst, and flooded an entire building within the facility; Woodard was contacted to provide immediate assistance.

After receiving the early morning phone call, Woodard’s team deployed, and arrived at 3:00 a.m. After arriving, the on-site supervisor and project manager began examining the damages and prepared a scope of work. By 8:00 a.m., less than 6 hours after the initial call was made, Woodard’s crew had already begun reversing the damage and restoring the building.

“Any time a large loss rolls in, whether it’s fire, water, mold, or storm damage, we know it’s going to be an intense journey – but our team is always up for the challenge,” said VP of Sales Dave Christoff.

In total, a team of 22 certified water restoration technicians, mitigation project managers, site supervisors, and administrative leads worked together to get the building back to its pre-loss condition. With the help of Woodard’s signature FASTRAX job management system, and a team who worked around-the-clock, all signs of flooding had been extracted, dried, and cleaned in only four short days. On Thursday, June 26, the facility was once again open for business.

“We’re there when it matters most, and that’s what makes us Woodard,” Christoff said.
