Our carpet prespray is completely green and pet friendly. We do ask that pets stay out of the area we are cleaning until completely dried, just in case of allergies. Certain stains may require a more aggressive solvent, but will be removed during the rinsing process. We can do a complete green cleaning, but there is a chance that spots and spills might not respond as well.
As far as furniture, it will depend on the type of fabric. Some fabrics are not safe to clean with water due to shrinkage and color run and must be cleaned with a dry-cleaning solvent. It would be best if pets stay off the furniture until completely dried.
That all said, no cats or dogs have ever been hurt during our cleaning process.
